Is everything the size it should be: Are there deep drawers for you to keep your bulky winter clothes, and smaller ones for your underwear? These are things that can easily get overlooked.

How does it look: It might seem superficial, but why live with those plain doors when you could choose something that matches or even improves the look of the room?

Will it fit in the room: Again, this can be overlooked during the whole process, and there's nothing worse than getting home and realising the wardrobe is too tall for the ceiling or too wide to get through the door.
