Mounting A TV In An Entertainment Unit In Sydney
As many homes now have flat screen televisions, many of the newer entertainment units in Sydney have been fitted with a post that allows you to mount the television directly to the back of the unit. This makes mounting your television easier than ever, as you don’t have to waste time locating studs and putting holes in your walls. But how do you actually mount it?
Step 1: Turn the television around so that you have easy access to its back where all of the attachments and cords will need to go. Make sure that you cover the screen with a blanket or even a pillow when you lie it face down, as this will prevent it from becoming scratched.
Step 2: Take your mounting brackets and position them on the back of the television (they will contain screw holes that match up with those that you find on the back of the television). Using a Phillips head screwdriver, tighten the screws into place.
Step 3: Lift the television up and fit the mounting brackets into the mounting fixture fitted in the back of the entertainment unit. You will need to slide the security screws through the mounting fixture and tighten them with a Phillips head screwdriver to ensure it will hold.
Providing that you completed each of the above steps correctly and that you have tightened the screws as much as possible, your television should now be properly mounted in your entertainment unit in Sydney. Should you ever buy a replacement television or move house, you will be able to easily remove the screws and start all over again.
